Terms & Conditions

By entering this Fun Run, I acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

• I acknowledge and accept that my participation in the Sydney Adventist Hospital ‘San Run for Life’ Fun Run (“the event”) involves risks, including the risk of injury, death or damage to property. I understand that the event takes place on public roads and footpaths, which are used by the general public during the event. I acknowledge that this is an inherently dangerous activity and agree to abide by any law concerning the use of public roads. I also agree to abide by the event rules and conditions. I voluntarily agree to participate in the event and do so solely at my own risk.
• I, in consideration of, and as a condition of acceptance of entry in Sydney Adventist Hospital’s ‘San Run for Life’ Fun Run for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, hereby waive all and any claim, right or course of action which I or they might otherwise have for, or arising out of, loss of life or injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I may suffer or sustain in the course or consequence upon my entry or participation of the said event. This waiver extends to liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty, on the part of Sydney Adventist Hospital Limited, its contractors, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and event sponsors and organisers, to the full extent permitted by law. I acknowledge that I have read and understood these terms & conditions.
• I understand that my personal details will be collected and used by Sydney Adventist Hospital ("The San") and Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation for the purposes of registration, payment, notification of prizes and future SAH Fun Run Events.
• I understand that my information may be passed on to Abbey Digital Photographs by Sydney Adventist Hospital for the purposes of Abbey Digital contacting me with any photos of my participation in the event.
• I consent to the use by Sydney Adventist Hospital of photographic images of me in internal and external promotion materials and activities. I understand that the use of these images will be at Sydney Adventist Hospital’s discretion.
• I understand that Sydney Adventist Hospital reserves the right to cancel the event without notice if considered necessary for safety or other reasons.
• I also understand that entry fees are non-refundable.
